Who We Are

Operating within the Operational Evaluation Command (OEC) and the broader ATEC enterprise, the Agile Sustainment and Ammunition Directorate (AS&AD) is a combined team of test and evaluation professionals. We are dedicated to the continuous, warfighter-informed testing of the nation’s critical sustainment, ammunition, and energetics capabilities.

By executing deliberate continuous evaluation campaigns, we provide the independent insights necessary to support accelerated Army transformation. Our work empowers senior leaders to rapidly field lethal, operationally relevant capabilities, ensuring our forces are equipped, sustained, and ready to fight and win our Nation’s wars.

What We Do

The Agile Sustainment and Ammunition Directorate (AS&AD) conducts continuous evaluation campaigns for the Army’s critical sustainment, ammunition, and energetics systems. By capturing direct, warfighter-informed insights, we support accelerated transformation and enable senior leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions.

Through continuous evaluation, we help the Army reduce risk, enhance capabilities, and accelerate the fielding of sustainment and ammunition solutions. We ensure every fielded system is operationally relevant, delivering the readiness and firepower needed to ensure Army dominance and overmatch any adversary.
