MISSION
U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) performs test and evaluation, while in direct support of U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command (T2COM), to inform Army senior leaders, in order to provide Soldiers with the capabilities needed to fight and win our Nation’s wars.
VISION
To be a team of highly skilled test and evaluation professionals focused on informing equipping decisions for today’s and tomorrow’s warfighter.

MG Patrick L. Gaydon
Major General Patrick L. Gaydon is the Commanding General, U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command. He assumed the role on July 10, 2024.
Executive Technical Director
Mr. James Amato
Mr. James Amato was appointed Executive Technical Director of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command on October 11, 2020.
Chief Data and Analytics Officer
Mr. J. Brian Kelly
Mr. Brian Kelly was appointed as a Scientific and Professional Senior Technologist (ST) in December 2023, and serves as the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO).
Chief of Staff
Mr. Westley (Wes) Williams
Mr. Westley Williams assumed the role of Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command in December of 2025.

CSM Bradford Smith
Command Sergeant Major Bradford Smith is currently serving at the U.S Army Test and Evaluation Command as the Command Sergeant Major. He assumed the role on 15 August 2024.
