From world-class test ranges and specialized laboratories to operational units across the force, ATEC’s workforce of Soldiers, civilians, scientists, and engineers provides independent expertise that strengthens modernization efforts and ensures every system is ready for the realities of combat.
MISSION
U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) performs test and evaluation, while in direct support of U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command (T2COM), to inform Army senior leaders, in order to provide Soldiers with the capabilities needed to fight and win our Nation’s wars.
VISION
To be a team of highly skilled test and evaluation professionals focused on informing equipping decisions for today’s and tomorrow’s warfighter.

Performs comprehensive test and training, both real and simulated, exploits emerging technologies, and develops leading-edge instrumentation and test methodologies in the areas of automotive, live fire, direct fire, engineer equipment, and Soldier systems.


U.S. ARMY DUGWAY PROVING GROUND

Executes efficient testing and support to enable our nation’s defenders to counter chemical, biological, radiological, and explosives (CBRE) hazards.


U.S. ARMY ELECTRONIC PROVING GROUND
FORT HUACHUCA, AZ
Executes premier C5ISR/EW/GPS/APNT developmental testing in direct support of Army Transformation & Training Command, Portfolio Acquisition Executives, DoW, and industry partners to ensure our Warfighters are enabled to dominate the future battlefield.

Conducts warfighter‑informed testing and evaluation through a Continuous Evaluation Campaign to accelerate Army transformation, inform senior leader decisions, and ensure the Army fields dominant capabilities.

Provides superior technical expertise and state-of-the-art facilities and capabilities to plan, conduct, analyze, and report the results of tests on aviation, missile, and sensors systems, subsystems, and components.
